Over the last 30 years I’ve travelled down many spiritual paths. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for answers only to be disappointed or ending up with more questions than answers! Eventually, having done the mileage, my quest led me back to myself. I stand and look back at the younger me and chuckle, now it all seems so simple ! The answers are all within oneself and your own connection to the universe. My gift as an artist is something I treasure, it’s the real gold I bought back from my quest.
My art is an expression of my spirituality. I have no name for it and don’t put any kind of label on it anymore. I feel it comes direct from my connection with the elementals who have always been here and transcend time and the different belief systems through the ages.
I love working with natural mediums like stone, antler, clay and wood as well as painting. Creating something, be it a sculpture or a pendant from these materials which have already had a life of their own and extending that life as a piece of art with a message or healing energy, is really exciting
Even if only one person is touched by, or finds healing and joy in a piece I’ve created. I feel my gift from spirit has been put to good purpose, which in turn heals myself, which is of course our true quest!
